Introduction to Level 1 -- CLINIC 1.1 Beginning the partnership: For anyone wanting to begin or improve their ability to communicate with horses. This introduction clinic is Online and will focus on basic skills and safety as well as understanding horse psychology. Discover how to gain your horse's respect and trust, and the safe and savvy way to do everything with horses. This clinic will include a lot of theory sessions as well as an introduction to the Seven Games of Parelli Natural Horse-Man-Ship. Helps you understand how horses feel, think, act, and play and through that understanding to build a relationship that leads to more fun, safety, and results. Learn the dynamics of the ABC’s of the language of horses as developed by Pat Parelli. Sensitize your horse to the things you would like for him to be sensitive to and desensitize him to stimulus that doesn’t need to mean anything.

We'll improve the quality of your Seven Games, and learn to put them to a purpose, using obstacles. We'll continue to teach you to develop a calmer, braver horse. By understanding the Language of Horses, your dreams and goals can turn into a reality. Parelli Natural Horsemanship™ takes you step by step through learning how to communicate with your horse. Horses have survived for centuries using Opposition Reflex or reading a predator’s intention and doing the opposite. Pat has broken this language down into the Seven Games that horses play. For anyone wanting to become more confident riding or looking for basic knowledge of natural riding dynamics. Learn how to tell if a horse is ride-able by using a safety checklist, gain an awareness of body positions that give your horse a comfortable ride, develop basic communication skills while mounted and practice how to get off when safety becomes an issue. Now you have a basic language in place it is time to progress your skills to a higher level. This will prepare you to pass your level one if that is your desire. We will move on to using the horse’s language on their backs.

Beginning Level 2 OnLine and Freestyle Patterns -- CLINIC 2.1
For Parelli students wanting to put more variety into their horseplay and advance their communication. Discover a tool that makes being imaginative simple and have opportunity to try it with your horse. Move from being safe, to having more fun. In addition learn the savvy arrows to take basic games to the Harmony Level by creating lightness of response. Start developing Positive reflexes in your horse's responses, developing Emotional Fitness for the horse and human. Take the Seven Games to a Level 2 proficiency using obstacles and longer lines to further your communication and feel. This is where we really learn to have fun with our horses. Learn how to safely read and prepare your horse for saddling, mounting and riding.

Intermediate Level 2: The Fluidity/Impulsion connection -- CLINIC 2.2
For Parelli students looking to improve their riding ability and/or their horse’s responses under saddle. Learn how the way you ride affects your relationship and how your horse responds to you. Simulate body positions which enhance the relationship and practice techniques designed to balance the horse’s impulsion. Once safety and basic skills are learned now we can build on these, and establish a deeper communication with our horse. Level 2 is about confidence. Most of all, you will begin to have even more fun with your horse now that you are safe and confident!

Developing Imagination by adding more puropse and challenges. Build towards harmony, Level 2 is about confidence, whether riding in, or preparing for riding out. For Parelli students wanting to put more variety into their freestyle riding including the first stepping stones to bridle-less riding. Discover a tool that makes being imaginative simple and have opportunity to try out your ideas with your horse. We'll continue to study strategies for dealing with different horsenalities. Learn about responsibilities for both the horse and human. Winning the Seven Games, carrot stick riding, impulsion programs, saddle savvy, and progressing with patterns. How little does it take to communicate with your horse in all the games?
What we will cover in OnLine sessions: • We will use simulations to help you clearly understand the concepts at this level • Transitions online: Learn how transitions build respect and attention • Changes of direction online: Learn how body language and position influences your horse • Sideways without a fence • 7 games at liberty: Learn to set yourself up for this • Liberty: Learn when it’s time to advance to liberty and when to go back online

Level 2+ Freestyle and Trail Riding -- CLINIC 2.4
Trail riding can be the most relaxing and enjoyable time spent with your horse...it can also be frustrating and frightening if you or your horse are unconfident on the trail. For Parelli students seeking to develop the confidence, fluidity, and impulsion necessary for riding in large open areas or on trails. Learn how to determine when you and your horse are ready, natural trail savvy and safety, and ways to have fun in the great out-of-arenas. Jigging, spooking and bolting are many of the problems a lot of students face when taking their horse into unfamiliar territory. You will learn how to Ride Out with Savvy and safety, you will learn ways to give you and your horse more confidence. You'll start off OnLine and mounted in an arena or playground. Then, with your new skills you'll go on a trail ride (or trail walk if you don't feel confident in the saddle) and practice your new skills. Beginning Level 3 Excellence and High Level Communication -- CLINIC 3.1
Pat Parelli will say that not being progressive with your horse can be just as cruel as being unkind to them. Practice does not make perfect, only perfect practice makes perfect, which then makes permanent! In this clinic you will learn how to refine your communication and start to achieve excellent results. Learn to play on the 45-foot Line, and head towards bridless riding. For the serious Parelli student ready to further develop their leadership, fluidity and impulsion ultimately to bridle-less riding. Learn how to stay safe yet progressive, when to take the bridle off and keys for developing various techniques of freestyle riding including carrot sticks, neck ropes, Cherokee bridles and bridle-less.
What we will cover: • Components of On Line and FreeStyle at a refined level • Preparing for, and secret to bridless riding • Friendly game with the 45-foot Line getting comfortable with it • Keep building your relationship and develop your communication skills in all 5 zones. Learn the strategies for starting 1 and 2 rein driving on the ground. • How perfect is your practice? Learn to expand your 7 Games and Parelli Patterns to take your riding to the refinement level. Do the simple things with excellence. • Use the Parelli Freestyle Patterns to get your horse’s whoa equal to his go as well as learn how to flow with his go. Learn strategies for you and your horse to gain some relaxation in and with motion. • Gain control of your predator tendencies while learning to get connected to your horse's feet. Are you playing all 7 games from on top of zone 3? This topic is one that folks like to skip because it makes us uncomfortable. But, remember that these skills will be essential to your future success. If you have not mastered them, there will be a hole in your relationship.

Level 3 Excellence and Refinement -- CLINIC 3.2
For the serious Parelli student looking to discover or refine skills on the 45’ line and from zone 5. Learn how to make the 45’ line your friend, how to increase your horse’s sensitivity to communication and strengthen rapport, respect, and impulsion at greater distances. We will concentrate on the ingredients leading to Collected Flying Lead Changes. We will do preparatory ground work to help get the horse collected mentally, emotionally and physically. In the saddle, we'll improve our basics, and practice the steps that lead to collected simple and flying changes. Even if you are not ready to do lead changes yet, you can practice the proper positions at the walk and trot, so that when you are ready, the changes will happen!
